Women's Cross Country Places Seventh at PAC Championship

(BETHANY, W.Va.) – The Thomas More College women's cross country team finished seventh today (Saturday, November 01, 2014) at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Meet hosted by Bethany College at Bethany, West Virginia.

The Saints had 170 points to finished seventh in the 10-team field.

Two Saints earned All-Conference honors as freshman Sarah Duncan (Elsmere, Ky./Lloyd Memorial) was first team as she finished fourth with a time of 23:49.5 and freshman Krista Tensing (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley) was second team as she finished 14th with a time of 24:27.1.

Sophomore Kristin Klocke (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) finished 56th with a time of 27:12.8, junior Tori McCarty (Bardstown, Ky./Bardstown) placed 57th with a time of 27:14.8 and junior Julie Mapes (Greensburg, Ind./South Decatur) placed 90th with time of 29:25.9.

Thomas More is idle until November 15 when it competes in the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional in Newville, Pennsylvania.
