Saints Fall 3-0 to No. 10 Lindsey Wilson in Regular Season Finale

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) — The Thomas More University women's volleyball team's regular season came to a close on Thursday night (November 7, 2019) with a 3-0 loss to No. 10 Lindsey Wilson College on Senior Night at the Connor Convocation Center. The loss snaps the Saints' 10-match overall winning streak and 30-match home winning streak that dated back to 2016.

   

  • Thomas More, which received votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll, lost by the scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.
  • The Saints concluded the regular season 22-7 overall and 13-3 in Mid-South Conference play.
  • The Blue Raiders improved to 26-5 overall and 14-2 in conference play, finishing as the Mid-South Conference regular season champions.
  • Sophomore Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led the Saints offense with 12 kills.
  • Senior Madison Krumpelman (Crestview Hills, Ky./Holy Cross) added 10 kills and 11 digs in her final game at the Connor Convocation Center.
  • Senior Jenna Mummert (Batavia, Ohio/Clermont Northeastern) finished with seven kills.
  • Junior defensive specialist Jessica Ginn (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led Thomas More with 17 digs.
  • Sophomore setter Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) finished with 15 assists.
  • Junior setter Madison Read (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) added 12 assists.

  • The Saints will be the 2-seed in the Mid-South Conference tournament, which will begin on Thursday, November 14 at Bowling Green High School in Bowling Green, Ky. The match schedule will be announced at a later date.
