(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More women's soccer team fell, 1-0, to across-the-river rival Mount St. Joseph University today (Wednesday, September 26, 2018) at BB&T Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

  • Kara Vennemeier scored the lone goal of the match for the Lions in the eighth minute off a Kaylan Gruber cross.

  • Thomas More falls to 1-10 and the Mount St. Joseph improve to 7-1-2.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Kylie Anderson (Florence, Ky./Boone County) played all 90 minutes in goal and recorded nine saves.
  • Junior midfielder Olivia Nienaber (Alexandria, Ky./Bishop Brossart) had one shot, which was on-goal.
  • First-year defender Kylie Zents (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) had one shot in the match.

  • The Saints return to action on Monday (October 1) when they travel to North Manchester, Indiana to play Manchester University at 4 p.m.
