Thomas More Falls to Chatham on Sunday

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More College women's lacrosse team fell, 16-3, to Chatham University today (Sunday, April 8, 2018) in an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) match at BB&T Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

With the loss, the Saints fall to 0-4 overall and 0-4 in the ORLC.  With the win, the Cougars improve to 3-7 overall and 1-4 in the ORLC.

Junior Jalee Connor (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) recorded a hat trick as she scored at the 3:33 mark of the first half and at the 11:41 and 5:11 mark of the second half.

Connor took a team-high-tying five shots, including four on-goal and senior Sydney Polster (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) took five shots with all of them being on-goal.  Junior Karly Lehmkul (Erlanger, Ky./St. Henry) led the team in draw controls with five.

Sophomore Erin Carrus (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) suffered the loss in goal as she played the first 30 minutes and recorded four saves.  Sophomore Aleyna Heyman (Beavercreek, Ohio/Beavercreek) played the final 30 minute and had two saves.

Thomas More returns to action on Tuesday (April 10) when it travels to Lexington, Kentucky to play Transylvania University at 4 p.m.
