#3 Women's Basketball Competes in the Post-Exam Jam This Weekend


(CRESTVEIW HILLS, Ky.) - The now No. 3-ranked and 11-0 Thomas More women's basketball team heads north to Holland, Mich. to take on No. 19-ranked Baldwin Wallace tonight at 5 p.m. and No. 2-ranked Hope or Finlandia on Saturday.

  • The Saints are coming off an 80-63 win over Whitman last weekend in Walla Walla, Washington. 
  • Madison Temple was named the Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) after the tournament and tallied 33 points, eight rebounds, three assists and four steals.
  • Emily Schultz was named to the All-Tournament Team and scored 15 points, pulled down four rebounds, dished out three assists and recorded one steal.
  • Shelby Rupp finished the game with 14 points, four rebounds and three steals.
  • Kaela Saner had 12 points and one steal.
  • The Saints are averaging 88.5 points per game, along with a .539 field-goal shooting percentage. 
  • Temple leads the way shooting .657 from the field and .500 from beyond the arc. 
  • Rupp holds the team high of .684 shooting from the field. 
  • Seven Saints are currently shooting above .500 from the field so far this season. 


  • The Yellow Jackets come into the weekend ranked No.19 and 8-0 on the season. 
  • BW is averaging 74.0 points per game and shooting .399 from the field.
  • Lilly Edwards leads the team averaging 12.3 points per game, going .477 from the field.


  • No.2 Hope, the host of the Post-Exam Jam, comes into the weekend 6-0 on the season. 
  • The Flying Dutch are averaging 85.2 points per game, shooting .425 from the field. 
  • Hope is averaging 47.7 rebounds per game and 17.8 assists per game. 
  • The Flying Dutch are led by Francesca Buchanan, who is averaging 15.8 points per game and shooting .515 from the field. 


  • The Finlandia Lions come into the weekend 0-9 on the season, averaging 46.7 points per game. 
  • Finlandia is averaging 31.9 rebounds per game, along with 8.4 steals, 10.8 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game. 
  • The Lions are led by Katie Lundeen, averaging 10.2 points per game and shooting .416 from the field.
