Three Saints Named to All-PAC Women's Basketball Teams

(WEXFORD, Pa.) - Thomas More sophomore guard Katie Kitchen (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County), junior guard Allison Long (Hebron, Ky./Conner) and sophomore guard Devin Beasley (Burlington, Ky./Conner) have been named All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) by the conference's head coaches.

Kitchen and Long were first team selections.  Kitchen averaged 15.3 points per game, pulled down 4.3 rebounds per game and had 39 assists, 49 steals and six blocks in 24 games played.  Long is second on the team in scoring at 14.9 ppg., and in assists with 100, while she ranks seventh in all of Division III in three-point field goal percentage at 44.8 percent.  

Beasley was an honorable mention selection as she averages 9.3 ppg., 3.6 rpg., and leads the team in assists with 126.  Her 2.63 assist turnover ratio ranks fourth in all of Division III.

The 23rd-ranked Saints will host 25th-ranked Louisiana College on Friday (March 2, 2012) in an NCAA Division III Tournament first round game at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  The game time will be announced this afternoon (Tuesday, February 28).
