Thomas More Men's Cross Country Places Fifth at PAC Championship

(BETHANY, W.Va.) – The Thomas More College men's cross country team finished fifth today (Saturday, November 01, 2014) at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Meet hosted by Bethany College at Bethany, West Virginia.

The Saints had 149 points to finished fifth in the eight-team field.

Thomas More had three runners place in the Top-50 as freshman Brandon West (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) was 26th with a time of 28:58.9, junior Jacob Condon (Edgewood, Ky./Covington Catholic) placed 37th with a time of 29:30.1 and junior Alex Henn (Erlanger, Ky./Lloyd Memorial) finished 47th with a time of 30:00.2.

Sophomore Shawn Messerschmitt (Cincinnati, Ohio/Colerain) placed 54th with a time of 30:20.3, junior Aaron Fuller (Edgewood, Ky./Holy Cross) finished 56th with a time of 30:34.3, sophomore Josh Roux (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) placed 66thy with a time of 31:22.3, junior Jaime Leon (Jeffersonville, Ind./Louisville Trinity) finished 72nd with a time of 31:36.1, sophomore Alex Bramer (Independence, Ky./Holy Cross) was 83rd with a time of 33:17.2 and freshman Josh Sestina (Washington Courthouse, Ohio/Washington Courthouse) finished 89th with a time of 33:54.3.

Thomas More is idle until November 15 when it competes in the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional in Newville, Pa.
