Men's Volleyball Goes 0-2 in Final Day of Siena Heights Tournament

(ADRIAN, Mich.) - The Thomas More men's volleyball team concluded the Siena Heights Tournament on Saturday, Mar. 16. The Saints went 0-2, falling to both Morningside and Lincoln, 3-0. With the losses, the Saints move to 3-20 overall on the season. 

  • Tanner Miller was named to the All-Tournament Team at the end of the weekend. 
  • The Saints fell to Morningside by scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-23.
  • Nick Richard led the team with 10 kills, two service aces, four digs, and one block.
  • Miller had the team-high of 20 assists, along with two digs.
  • Brock Cassin added five kills, along with one dig and the team-high three blocks. 
  • Thomas Williams recorded one kill and one block in the game. 
  • Andy Geigle recorded four kills, along with one block and sharing the team-high of six digs. 
  • Ryan Hans tied Geigle for the team-high of six digs, while adding one assist and one service ace. 
  • Cassin also led the team, hitting .444.
  • The Saints finished the game hitting .091, compared to Morningside hitting .362.
  • In game two of the day, they Saints fell by scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-14.
  • Geigle led the Saints with eight kills, along with two digs and the team-high hitting percentage of .050.
  • Richard added four kills, along with service ace and three digs.
  • Williams and Jones each added one kill, while Jones also recorded one dig. 
  • The Saints had a three-way tie for second most digs, with Stephen MaleyRichard, and Hans each recording three each.
  • Miller recorded 13 assists for the team-high, along with a team-high four digs and two blocks. 
  • Thomas More hit -.091 against Lincoln's .282.

  • The Saints conclude their five-game road stand at Midway on Mar. 21 at 7 p.m.
