Men's Soccer Hits the Road for Two Games

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More men's soccer team hits the road for a two-game away stand, taking on Otterbein on Sept. 11 at 7 pm and Anderson on Sept. 12 at 7:15 pm.

 

  • Thomas More men's soccer heads on the road to Otterbein and Anderson for a two-game away stretch.
  • The Saints will take on Otterbein on Sept. 11 at 7:00pm and Anderson on Sept. 12 at 7:15pm.

  • Thomas More took down Rose-Hulman at home on Sept. 9 in a last-minute win.
  • The Saints had an own goal to give Rose-Hulman their only point of the game.
  • Pierce Turner had the game-tying goal, with an assist from Dominic Russo off a free kick.
  • Patrick Louis booted in the game-winning goal, with less than 10 minutes in the game, off another free kick.
  • The Saints improved to 2-1-1 overall.

 

  • No. 11-ranked Otterbein comes into the match 2-0 after defeating Transylvania in overtime, 2-1, and Oberlin 2-1.
  • The Cardinals have recorded 33 total shots, half of which have been on goal.
  • Otterbein is averaging two goals per game.
  • Eric Sticky leads the team in shots on goal (3), points (4), and in goals (2).

  • Anderson comes into the match 3-1-1 overall, defeating St. Mary of the Woods 2-1, UC Clermont 5-1, and Blackburn, 3-0.
  • The Ravens recorded their only loss on the season to DePauw, 2-3, in overtime, and only tie on the season to Baldwin Wallace, 4-4.
  • The Ravens have recorded 92 shots on the season, 46 of them on goal.
  • Jacob Pororski leads the team in points (13), assists (5), shots on goal (15), goals (4), and shots (26).
