Volleyball Stays Undefeated Going 3-0 vs. Hanover

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More women's volleyball team extended their win streak to nine, taking down Hanover College in three sets. The Saints move to 9-0 on the season.

  • Thomas More won in three sets, 25-15, 26-24, 25-18.
  • Thomas More had the advantage in kills, 35-30, assists, 33-28, and blocks, 13-4. 
  • The Panthers took the Saints to extra points in the second match, but Thomas More quickly ended it by scoring two in a row to win the set.
  • Emily Mohs led the team in kills, recording 10 of her own. 
  • Jenna Fessler led the team in assists, with 15 on the night, and in digs, with nine. 
  • Jessica Ginn was tied for the team high with nine digs of her own. 
  • Jenna Mummert led the game in blocks, recording five, including one solo block. 
  • Madison Krumpelman, Fessler, and Sara Crooker each recorded two service aces on the night. 
  • Julia Popova finished the night hitting .455, recording seven kills off 11 attempts, along with one dig and one block. 

  • The Saints hit the road again up to Wittenberg for the Wittenberg Tournament where they will faced nationally ranked Wittenberg, Heidelberg, and Mary Washington.
  • The tournament starts Sept. 14/15.
