Women's Soccer Advances to Championship Round of ACAA Tournament

(HANCOCK, Mich.) - The Thomas More women's soccer team shut-out Finlandia 2-0 in the ACAA Championship Semifinals. 

  • Shaye Isaacs put the Saints on the board first, scoring off an assist from Olivia Nienaber
  • Nienaber found the back of the net to extend the lead to 2-0 on an unassisted goal.

  • With the win, the Saints improve to 6-12-1 overall. 
  • Hannah Dargo led the game with eight shots, six of which were on goal. 
  • Nienaber and Abby Hutcheson each had six shots in the game and two shots on goal, with Nienaber adding a goal and an assist. 
  • Lindsey Brown and Jordan Harley each recorded three shots in the game and one shot on goal. 
  • Mariah Gilbert, Katie Rice, and Kaylee Terrell both recorded two shots with Gilbert having one shot on goal and Rice and Harley each having two. 
  • Goalkeeper Maddy Kim recorded zero saves off of zero shots on goal after playing all 90:00 minutes in goal. 
  • The Saints had the advantage in shots in the game, 38-2. 

  • The Saints advance to the ACAA Tournament Championship game, facing Alfred State tomorrow at 11 a.m.
