Lacrosse Falls to Otterbein in Road Game

(WESTERVILLE, Ohio) - The Thoams More women's lacrosse team took on Otterbein today, falling 19-1. With the loss, the Saints fall to 0-4 on the season while Otterbein improves to 2-6 overall. 

  • In the first half, Katie Rice scored unassisted for the Saints' only goal of the game. 

  • Rice also recorded two shots on goal, caused one turnover, and grabbed one ground ball.
  • Katie Bryson led the team with three caused turnovers and three ground balls, along with recording one draw control.
  • Jeni Hall recorded three shots, for two shots on goal.
  • Kennedy Yurt played all 60-minutes in goal, facing 26 shots and recording seven saves. 
  • Erin Carrus recorded one shot on goal in the game. 
  • Otterbein had the 33-7 shot advantage. 

  • Thomas More remains on the road, heading to Waynesburg to take on the Yellow Jackets on Mar. 23 at 12 p.m.
