Men's and Women's Track and Field Compete at Dick Small Memorial

(DEFIANCE, Ohio) - The Thomas More men's and women's track and field team competed at the Dick Small Memorial today. The men had 11 top-five performances while the women had eight top-five performances. 

WOMEN

  • Natalie Kleier finished the one-mile run with a time of 5:57.28, putting her in seventh place.

  • Sammie Kleier and Victoria Raque both set a new personal best in the one-mile run. Kleier finishing in 10th with a time of 6:25.70 and Raque finishing right behind with a time of 6:26.04.

  • Milan McNulty was the top Saint in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:04.94, finishing fourth.

  • N. Kleier led the Saints in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:41.83, finishing in third. Jessi Uruchich was not far behind, finishing in fifth place, with a time of 2:52.01. 

  • McNulty led the Saints in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.97, finishing in third. 

  • Alexis Brandenburg led the Saints with a distance of 4.49-meters in the long jump, finishing third. Rachel Whitehill finished close behind her with a distance of 4.34-meters, finishing in fourth place. 

  • Whitehill also finished tied for second in the high jump, with a distance of 1.42-meters. 

  • Latavia Keith finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 8.88-meters. 

MEN

  • The Saints dominated the 3000-meter run, with Ross Klocke was the top Saints finishing in second with a time of 9:18.90. Oscar Ramirez finished third with a final time of 9:34.08 and Michael Campbell finished right behind him with a final time of 9:39.08.

  • Ryan Jackson, Jr. placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.19.

  • Corey Young finished first by over two seconds. in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.15. 

  • Montez Taylor finished fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.29. Makai Lewis was close behind, finishing in sixth with a time of 7.33.

  • Ronny Smith finished fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.53.

  • Montez Taylor finished the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.79, finishing in fifth place. 

  • Todd Lewis threw for 13.26-meters in the shot put, finishing in third place. 

  • Jacob Steinmetz finished fifth in the weight throw, with a distance of 14.98-meters. 

  • Zack Osburg finished third in the triple jump with a distance of 11.62-meters. 

  • The Saints compete next in the DePauw Classic on Feb. 16.
