Men's Soccer Ends in a 0-0 Draw After 2OT

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More men's soccer team moves to 4-3-2 overall on the season as it tied, 0-0, with DePauw in a double-overtime match. The Tigers move to 6-1-2 overall on the season.

  • Both teams ended even in shots in the match, both having 12. 
  • Thomas More had the shot advantage, recording four shots to DePauw's zero in overtime. 
  • Goalkeeper Jeff Paulin recorded six saves, over DePauw's four saves, allowing no goals off six shots on goal. 
  • Ethan Smith led the game with five shots, two of which were on goal. 
  • Sominic Russo, Adam Mathews, Patrick Louis, Brendan Jones, Suli Kayed, Pierce Turner, and Mark McAulay each recorded one shot each in the match. 

  • The Saints hit the road to Denison to take on the Big Red at 7 p.m. on Sept. 26.
