Men's Soccer Heads to Columbus Saturday

(CRESTVEIW HILLS, Ky.) - The 4-3-1 Thomas More men's soccer team travels to Columbus, Ohio to take on the 5-1 Capital University Crusaders. The match is set to start at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

  • The Saints are coming off a 3-1 loss at Ohio Northern on Wednesday, Sept. 18. 
  • Ethan Smith scored his seventh goal of the season. 
  • Thomas More had the advantage in saves, as Jeff Paulin recorded eight on the night. 
  • The Saints were out shot, 21-14. 
  • Smith recorded six shots, two on goal, one of which was successful.
  • Suli Kayed recorded two shots in the match, one on goal. 

  • The Crusaders are coming off a 1-0 win over Wooster on Sept. 19. 
  • Capital out-shot Wooster 17-15. 
  • Daniel Bundschuh recorded four shots in the match.
  • Goalkeeper, Logan Wiedman, recorded six saves in the match.
