  • King, Callahan Named to ACAA All-Conference

    Thomas More University senior guards Damion King (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) and Ryne Callahan (Morehead, Ky./Rowan County) were both recognized by the American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) with postseason honors today, Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019.

    The Thomas More men's basketball team fell short today in the ACAA Conference Tournament Semi-Finals, 68-64, to host school Alfred State. With the loss, the Saints drop to 16-9 on the season and wait to see if they will be moving on in the NCAA Tournament beginning next weekend.

    The Thomas More men's basketball team headed north to New York today to compete in the ACAA Conference Tournament this weekend. The 16-8 Saints take on Alfred State tomorrow at 5 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Championship game on Sunday.

    The Thomas More men's basketball team sent its five seniors out in style, as the Saints defeated Wright State-Lake today, 81-58, in the final game and home game of the regular season. Senior Brandon Horne posted a double-double to help lead the Saints to a win and improve to 16-8 overall.

    The Thomas More men's basketball team takes on future NAIA Mid-South opponent, Shawnee St., for the second time this season. The Saints defeated the Bears 77-60 about a month ago at home. Thomas More comes into the game tonight 15-7 overall and on a nine-game winning steak.

    The Thomas More men's basketball got to see a preview of what next year in NAIA will entail, as the Saints fell short in round two against the future Mid-South opponent Shawnee State, 73-63, tonight. The Bears snapped the Saints nine-game win streak as the Saints dropped to 15-8 overall on the season.

    Senior Brandon Horne scored the 1,000th point of his career in the trip back to Beaver Falls, Pa. to take on old PAC foe, Geneva, winning 89-64. With the win, the Saints improve to 14-7 overall and drop the Golden Tornadoes to 8-11 on the season.

    The Thomas More men's basketball team recorded its second-straight 100-point victory over the Miami-Hamilton Harriers today. With the win, the Saints improved to 11-7 overall on the season. Five different Saints posted double-digit points to help the Saints win by 37.

    The Thomas More men's basketball team ended 2018 with a statement win over Manchester, taking down the Spartans 100-60, led by Ralph Stone (Shelbyville, Ky. / Martha Layne Collins) and Brandon Horne (Louisville, Ky./Male). The Saints gained their 10th win of the season with the win tonight, improving to 10-7 overall.

    Thomas More men's basketball went 2-0 at the Mount Union Classic this Thursday and Friday, defeating Trine, 89-73, in day two of the tournament. The Saints improved to 9-7 with the win as Trine fell to 7-4.

    (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More University men’s basketball team defeated across-the-river rival Mount St. Joseph University, 78-47, today (Saturday, December 22, 2018) in the 2018 Bridge Shootout at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. The Saints improve to 7-7 and the Lions fall to 3-8.

    The Thomas More men's basketball team dropped a game today as the Comets of Olivet took down the Saints 84-44. With the loss, the Saints move to 6-5 on the season.
